The Highest Place by Charles Boylan

right...went to the top of the highest point in the East Bay, Mt Diablo. While it was easy in time and cost, it had a psychic cost since I am an acrophobe. Ever sharp turn was anxiety producing, and I had a sense of vertigo at the peak while standing in the parking lot up there. Views were very good considering the crap in the air. The beat thing for me was that the actual highest point on the mountain is enclosed with the little museum/gift shop/castle. So I was at the top and yet still safely enclosed within thick comforting walls with full A/C blasting away.

Fear of heights runs in my family. I don't have much of it myself, but I'm not completely unfamiliar with the feeling.
welcome to the game!
I'm going to flag this because you haven't gone to the place, come back, and then written about it and/or posted pictures. Praxis gets posted after the big adventure, rather than as a teaser for it. Re-submit the task once you've done it and folks will vote and comment and cheer, I promise.
