Fake Fake Photography by Luke Stevens

July 31st, 2008 4:16 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Submit an image to a "photoshop" display or contest website, such as worth 1000. The catch: everything in your photo must either be captured in-camera or created using physical darkroom techniques; no digital manipulation allowed.

Submitted 3 photos to Here.

The Graveyard one was just a lucky shot early in the morning. The neighbors rooster woke me up at 5am so I stormed off for a drive. Found a foggy graveyard on my travels so I went home to get my camera. Managed to get this photo printed in a local paper and earned me ten great British pounds. Bonus!

The moon pictures reflection was actually off of the roof of my car.

The lowrider bike picture was taken in my garage with the cars lights shining in. The camera was put on the floor to steady it to stop any blurring in the low light. I have no tripod.

Photos also uploaded with this proof to give people a better look.

That graveyard picture is beautiful.

What contest did you submit these to?

They're all pretty good, but the graveyard in particular is stunning. Nice work.

I couldn't find any relevant competitions so I just submitted them to a photoshop gallery. The link is above. If anyone can find a relevant competition, I'll happily submit it there too!

The task does allow for a "display website." Maybe not the photoshopiest of faux photoshopped images, but they sure are pretty. It counts, if you ask me.

Welcome to the game, Luke Stevens.

Yeah.

Welcome indeed.
