Significant Gesture Creation And Use by Salty Pete

June 28th, 2006 11:56 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Create and document a significant gesture. Use the gesture in your everyday life. If you wish, you may design a gesture that can be used to indicate your involvement in SFZero to other players or San Franciscans.

I liked the idea of creating a gesture that players could use to identify themselves, so my gesture is basically an sf0 gang sign. It's not easy to do at first, but once your hands get used to it, it's as easy as pie. It basically involves contorting your two hands into the shape of SF0.

A pictoral tutorial is presented herewith.

SF0 REPRESENT!!!!

SF0 REPRESENT!!!!

Hopefully you can see the characters spelled out there.

Step 1

Step 1

Start with with the double bird.

Step 2

Step 2

Rotate your your right hand so it is fipping off the floor and your left hand its middle finger is pointing at the floor.

Step 3, 4, and 5

Step 3, 4, and 5

bring the hands together so your left ring finger is resting on your right middle finger. With the left middle finger sticking down, that forms the "F" Make the "S" with your left pinky and right index finger. And the "0" is formed by making a circle from your left index finger and thumb, as if you were signing "okay".

optional Step 6

Fellow sf0 player, Adam Kennedy suggested a slight variation. Since the 0 in sf0 is a zero, you can give it the slash by extending your right pinky (or index finger) behind the "0"
