Feats Of Strength by Salty Pete

July 24th, 2006 10:57 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Challenge a stranger to compete with you in a feat of strength, will, or speed. Arm wrestling, for example.

Thumb wrestling is a feat of strength, right?

Okay, I admit it... I'm shy. Well... People who know me generally don't classify me that way, but I am in certain circumstances. I'm generally fine with people once the ice has been broken or if I know that they know that there is a reason that I should be talking to them. But, going up to someone cold is far more difficult for me. So, this task and a couple of others languished on my list for weeks. I combined this task with the buy a stranger a drink task. While out at a bar, I challenged a young lady to an thumb-wrestling match. The stakes were, if she won I'd buy her a drink of her choice but if I won then we'd do a shot together. Thus, no matter what happened, I'd fulfill both tasks. I won the the match and we did a shot together.

heheheh. Actually neither. Well, the task gave me an excuse, so I guess it was that.
