Find Roof Access by Augustus deCorbeau
August 10th, 2008 2:30 PM
Paradise is closed on Sundays, so I had to find someplace else to work. That meant another exploring expedition.

The sign claimed that there was no roof access.
I was skeptical.
The trap door may be padlocked, but it can't be the only way up to the roof...

The outdoor stairways all have these big metal gates restricting access to the final flight.

Gates that would be more effective, had they not left one unlocked...

Here's the view from the roof. Notice the window under the yellow arrow.
Roof accessed.

Here's the view from the window I pointed out earlier.

Around the back of the building, I noticed a cyclopean stone block with curious indentations. The monolith appears to be volcanic in origin, and there are curious markings around the rim of the indentations that resemble some sort of writing or map. This warrants further investigation.
