I desire
to know something higher;
to be the wick
of creative fire.
To stand not in awe
of Calatrava's Spire,
but to leave such a mark
and not be a liar.
To speak to her,
through a wire
or
get a chance
just to inquire
about her love
and if it would tire.
But too soon to yearn
for the universe, entire
Too soon to say
if she shares this desire.
