So, instead of cutting corners, I want to have all my own herbs grown, completely from scratch, in the window box that I built, accentuating the meals that I'm preparing. Got the window box and soil and seeds, but the seeds are old. Will they grow?! Do the have a shelf life? Luckily, there's a way to figure that out before toiling away.
