Audio Tour Part 2 by Adam

January 2nd, 2008 10:00 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Record an audio file of yourself in a strange place you like. It must be different than the place you described in Audio Tour Part 1. Record as much detail about the place as possible without giving away where you are.

This is the second part of the GYZero AudioTour completion by Tom, Ben, Adam and Daryl.

For this part of the tour we move on to one of my favourite places to hang out in the outdoors. It is a small park in the centre of town called St George's Park. It has recently been rennovated but it centres around the war memorial from the Second World War and contains a small sculpture and a child's play area. During the summer it is a nice place to sit down and read or chat or have a picnic and during the winter it is nice when it is frosty and you can walk through. It also acts as a path between the seafront and town centre for locals who want to avoid the notroious Regent Road.

See the audio section in the proof.

Hmmm. "A park in Great Yarmoth" and a track titled "St Georges" and the name of the park in the third sentence of the text? You didn't exactly go to extremes to avoid saying where you were, did you?

Besides, it falls a wee bit short of "as much detail as possible" if you ask me.

No flag, but no vote, I'm afraid.

Ah well I have trouble with lying and that kind of thing and I have a mild form of autism. I find it really difficult to not do things like mention a name so this was like my 5th attempt.

And it just said don't mention it in the recording never mind the text.
