SFZero Giftwrap by Adam, Tøm

December 31st, 2007 9:29 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Gift wrap something that is permanently fixed in a public space.
Label it such that the specific recipient knows it's for them.

Having realised I was being swiftly overtaken on the leaderboards, I called together as many GY0 members as possible to get some last minute praxis in. Only Adam was free, so we set off to toast Glasnost with tasks.

SFZero giftwrap had been on the horizon of tasks I'd like to do but will never get round to, but today, feeling that it was appropriate still close to Christmastime, and set off to bring good will and path safety to Great Yarmouth.

We wrapped a bollard in recycled wrapping paper, that's what gives it it's multicolourfull charm, and attached a small giftag that reads:

To the people of Great Yarmouth, love Sf0.org

At this point the tannoy system for the marina centre sparked into life, and we left sharpish.

Neat.

What's a bollard?

It's a thing they put in paths to stop cars driving down them, I think.

What will the Vanguards of the Crisis think of this?

Heh, that'll confuse 'em...
