Vertical Jaunt by Adam, Tøm

September 29th, 2007 3:47 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Climb something that wasn't meant to be climbed, that you haven't climbed before.

For Vertical Jaunt we went to the seafront to find somewhere high to climb. We went to go and have a cup of tea in a café along the prommonade and we spotted a terrace of old beach huts where people used to sit and .. well drink tea. We noticed that the whole area was fenced off and that the roof used to be a walkway.

So, we decided to see if we could make it into the walkway. At first I was at the bottom looking up and had to give Tom a leg up and then a shimmy up a drainpipe. We were quite scared of getting told off by nearby café workers so we had to do it quickly. It was then my turn to make it to the top and there was actually quite a nice view over the seafront. Id say that it was about 15ft high and quite dangerous. Awesome I know. I think they are being demolished next year.

Btw this means that Tom and I are back after our break from SF0

The last man to ever set foot there, perhaps. So very cool!

Wow, I never thought of that. I expect some demolition guy will probably walk along there first though :P

Etherealistically in the plane astral where your footsteps mark the fickle sky.
