Document Confusion by Jason 7au

Was riding the N-Judah on my way to work. We had stopped at Duboce and Church when the driver started saying something to the tune of, "There's something going on in the Subway, you'll all have to get out here and catch either the 22 Fillmore to—" but I and half the passengers on our train were already off and walking towards Market.
Except... well, we couldn't take a K or L or M, the subway was busted. Some of the people were standing around on the corner, looking around, awaiting some sort of direction, some of us just kept walking. When I got to Market, I saw a crowd already queuing up to try and take the F trolley. Except I imagined that just about everyone else had the same idea. What to do?

I sent a text message to two of my coworkers to let them know I'd be late, and heard back from one that he thought he caught the last train heading downtown, but no worries, I shouldn't rush. Well, cheers. I was near the photo shop where I get my stuff developed and hadn't been able to swing by in a week to pick up my latest proof sheet, so I did, and then realized that my fellow commuters were standing around confused. Document it.
It was too late to get pictures of the confused folks milling about Duboce and Church, but I could still get pictures of people trying to cram onto the F. I watched as the first car that arrived, a yellow trolley, was crammed ridiculously full of rerouted passengers. And then watched the second car arrive and go by with a sign that said "TEST CAR. NO PASSENGERS." Man, what timing.
I ended up walking down 14th Street towards Mission, thinking to take the Mission St. bus to work, but then realized I was close to the BART stop at 16th and headed that way. Since I was already jolted into being in character, I figured I'd travel with my team's namesake. (I also realize now that had I listened to the original N-Judah driver, I would have understood that the 22-Fillmore turned east shortly after Market and would've gone right to 16th and Mission and BART. Live and learn.)
When I got to work, there was nothing on Muni's listed April alerts and still nothing posted as an update. I have no idea why we all went through that.
Unrelated to today's confusion, I had been thinking lately about the "Thank You The MGMT" task, so it was serendipitous when at the BART station, I was greeted by this sign on one of the station utility gates to prevent farejumpers.
