Make A Task: The Task by Jason 7au

March 15th, 2006 12:44 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a task for the game San Francisco Zero. To add a task:

1) Go to your character page. You know, your home base (click your photo in the upper right once you're logged in).

2) Look in the second row of navigation up at the top. Click "add task".

3) You'll be taken to a form where you can name and describe your task, give it a location in SF (if it's location-based), assign it to one of the five groups (or "general"), and suggest a required score and the number of points the task awards.

4) You can add more than one task - they'll all be listed on your home page - but you can only get these 30 points once.

Once you add your task, you can complete this task. We'll make this automatic one of these days...

Housing Reconnaisance: What is so special about property and residences in SF that they're so expensive? What, exactly, is the cost of comfort? Is comfort necessary? Do we need to reassess our standards of comfort?

Exquisite Corpse (Analog): They're fun, they're spontaneous, they're a good reason to meet players you haven't met yet, and the proofs should entertain and delight.

Exquisite Corpse (Digital): One of the promises of virtual space is connecting to other people regardless of actual distances that would otherwise separate. We can connect on a textual, sometimes visual level, but can we connect in all human ways? Do our subconscious minds need physical space in which to interact? Does Jung's collective unconscious exist in non-space?

RRC: Realspace Relay Chat: I think I might have a sadistic streak. Sorry.

Address the Neighborhood: Look, living in San Francisco is already like living in the motherfucking Internet—for me at least—we should just stop fooling ourselves already.

Psychopomp: Certainly SF is haunted. You think ghosts will hang out in Duluth if they had the choice? C'mon.
