I weaved my two-wheeled time machine through the busy streets of 2008 Chicago during the lunch hour. It was difficult to locate the construction site of what would become the tallest structure in Chicago - The Spire. As I passed beneath Lake Shore Drive I saw a pit that reminded me of a pit I saw a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. The Sarlacc pit, pictured. In the distance, behind the 8 story deep basement of the Spire, you can see that Trump Tower is still rising into the cityscape. Stupid Trump.

The city is under quite a bit of construction, even in the ridiculous economy these 2008ers are experiencing. It will never look this way again...in weeks Trump will be higher and the Spire will begin to rise from the dirt.

Now I must continue to tear through time.

As the patter gets more intricate and subtle
being swept along is no longer enough.
