Work is So Strange by John D

I am a waiter at a restaurant in a gated community. I can't make tips and I work very, very strange hours. At the beginning, durring orientation, the HR worker told us a story about her favorite resident. She went on to say how each one of us will, in time have our own stories to tell. I had no idea how true it was.
As I was looking out of the wait-station, I saw that one of my tables had just been sat. I was half frustrated (because who doesn't enjoy just sitting around in a hot restaraunt doing nothing, right?), half happy, because I knew the family that was sitting at the table from having served them before.
When I walked over to the table, I introduced my self, "Hello. My name is John, and I'll be you're server tonight."
One of the men (there were two couples at the table) said, "John. We don't have to many Johns here...Well you must know the song Johnny Boy!" and looking over at his friend, they both burst into song. They sang for a good 5 minutes. It was quite strange, but in a very good way.
