While an incredibly cynical man, I do confess a deep love for Orwell that derives mainly from his being the source of this quote. It is a line that I try to live my life by, in action as well as speech. Because freedom is not only the right to tell people what they do not wish to hear, but to show them what they do not wish to see. To see the truth, in all it's various forms; both the ugly and the beautiful.
