Hour one: pretended to work by looking at the log and reading (work) email.
Hour two: dispensed with all pretense of pretending to work and read personal email and checked updates on SF0.
Hour three: played spider solitaire (medium level).
Hour four: played moria. yes. moria.
Hour five: watched various television channels on VBrick.
Hour six: read the stars and stripesand did the crossword puzzle, cryptoquip, and word jumble.
What makes me bored is being at work when there is no work to do. A lot of people I know love that, but I get quite frustrated and unhappy. I actually like challenging computer problems. There is nothing challenging about my current job which mainly consists of making sure the Big Display Tvs display the things that the bigwigs want displayed. Tough job that.
I know I am bored because time slows to a crawl. I actually fantasize about users coming up to me with challenging questions like "can you show me how to make a pst?" and "how can I get to the share drive with all the movies?" It is an actual physical relief to leave for the day to go do something more productive, like sleep.
