Fairy Godmonster by Cthulhu Kitty

INSTRUCTIONS: Fulfill a wish without being caught.

Well, I might as well admit from the get go that this is a retroactive completion. I did this a few months ago, before the task was created. If this irks you, I will do another one, just for you.

Anyway, some time ago, I read the heartbreaking Confession of my fellow Senator, P00N. After reading his tale of woe, I decided I would try and help out if I could. I guess SF0 has brought out the shiftyness in me, so instead of just telling him outright that I wanted to help, I messaged him asking him the name of his vet. Of course, he had no idea, just that it was off of Telegraph. The googling began. I found quite a few vet offices in that neighborhood and just picked one by random. I called and asked if they had admitted a patient named Lugosi brought in by a Chris. They wanted a last name, those whacky vet guys! What to do, what to do? Oh yeah, he mentioned his mother in another task completion - aha! last name attained! Believe it or not, I got the right office on the first try - the very nice young man on the other end of the telephone remembered poor Lugosi well. I asked him if I could make an anonymous payment to help out with the extensive vet bill. After much debate with various vet personnel, it was decided that yes, I could. So I did.

After this task was created, I messaged P00N and asked him if, at the time, he had wished for financial assistance. He said that he had (and that he frequently does so hint, hint). I asked him if he had noticed that he had received said financial assistance in that matter and he said that he had, but assumed it had been the evil downstairs neighbors. He was a bit surprised to learn it was some stranger he had never met. Who would do something like that? he asked me.

Well, what can I say. I really love animals. A lot more than people. And I absolutely despise people who hurt animals or allow their animals to hurt another animal. And I guess I like P00N okay too.

I guess i kind of glossed over this aspect a bit, but in fact the detective work did take a little while. It was fun though - I was quite pleased with myself that I had found out everything on my own.

Your detective work is second to none, Senator Kitty. That really must have taken quite a bit of work to find the right vet just from the info on SFZero!
