I took one of only two pictures I currently have with me and wrote a little note on the back of it. (I chose the picture of my ex-boyfriend, john, because the other picture was of me in boot camp and that was just too scary.) I found a valentine's day card on our Any Soldier table, stuck the picture inside it, and stuck both the card and the picture inside the book "Grieving Forward: Embracing Life Beyond Loss." I then placed the book back where I got it, on our free book shelf.
