I chose "The quick and dead judge"
This game is best played at a picnic setting, preferably with large quantities of wine and pickled pigs feet.
Requirements: one (or more) deck of playing cards, one chessboard, several checkers, and a variety of interesting looking dice.
Players: 2 - 16.
Below are rules for individual play. Team play is also permitted and rules can be altered accordingly.
Give each player a checker of any color. Once each player has a checker, have them mark it in such a manner as to make it visibly identifiable as belonging to that particular player. Once this has been finished, all players must place their checker on any space of the middle two rows of the chess board.
Next, deal out a hand of five cards to each player face down. Players may not look at their cards. Starting with the dealer and proceeding clockwise, each player flips over their top card until a face card is revealed. That player then becomes "The Judge."
The first role of "The Judge" is to determine which side of the chess board represents "Life" and which represents "Death." The ultimate goal of the game is to be the first player to move their checker to a space at the top row of the "Life" side of the chess board. The Judge also determines the order of play for the dice round. (a round of play ends when all players have had one turn in the dice round. The first player challenges any other player to a dice roll. The highest number of the roll wins and the winner moves his or her checker one space in the direction of his or her choice. The loser must also move their checker one space in the direction the winner chooses for them. Play continues in this manner until each player has had a turn in the dice round. (Being challenged constitutes a turn in the dice round and any challenged player must be skipped in the original order of play determined by "The Judge."
Play continues in this manner from dice round to card round until a winner is declared.
Note that when a new "Judge" is chosen, that player may change which side of the chessboard represents "Life" and which represents "Death."
Enjoy!

I don't have access to any of the things needed for the game except the cards. I was hoping someone would give it a try. I don't really know if it will work or not...

Part of the completion of this task is playing your game! I realize you're kind of out of range, but you should convince someone to put it together and play it for you!
