Work is So Strange by Kenura Kusanagi

INSTRUCTIONS: Describe in some detail the strangest thing that happened to you at work in the past week. If you don't work, describe the strangest thing that happened to you during a leisure activity.

About a month and a half ago, I was working the grave yard shift at my store, yay. Well this lady and her daughter walked in at around 11pm, right after I got there and got on my registrar (I work at a convenient store), the lady got a bar of candy and a 20oz cup filled with icee, the total game out to 2.15, the lady got upset cause the cup was 99cents rather than the 89 cents for the 16oz icee cup. I explained we are charging you for the cup and not the content of the cup. the lady raged and had her 5 year old daughter go get the icee cup (there are difference int eh cup, the 20oz is bigger and foam and better) well she takes the cup pours the icee in the other cup getting it everywhere. I had customers behind her lined up a bit and there faces were priceless, made my night. anyways I re-rang it as I cant be like, BITCH YOUR BUYING BOTH CUPS. but the total came up to be 2.14... 2 fucking dollars and 14 cents, A PENNY LESS!!! Then I kinda became a sarcastic dick. I said that will be 2.14, she raged saying it was the same price, I showed her the original ticket I voided out, and the total, and how there was a penny difference, between the shorter 16oz cup and the 20oz cup, which lids actually fit easily on (I might add). she raged paid the money and stormed out saying Im not coming back here again, which I replied, don't trip on your way out, she turned saying what was that and tripped, she tripped over the wet floor sign.

customers laughed and I just smiled asking and a sarcastic voice 'ma'am are you alright', she got flustered and walked out. and each customer behind her was awesome and we all joked about what just happened.
