My boyfriend's birthday party last week was a hat party. He just wanted have everyone show up with hats on their heads, and so, they did.

- I wore a red hat. As in, Red Hat Linux. It was an actual Red Hat Linux hat. No joke.
- Eris had a sun hat on.
- Kevin had, what I call his "Kanye [West]" cap on.
- Jason, of course, had on his grrrrand pirate hat.
- Ernie had one of those ironic trucker mesh caps on that said, "Quitter" on it. Keep in mind that this is also within the week that Ernie has quit his job. Ooh, funnypants! The irony! !!!
- Zack made his hat 10 minutes before the party and it had a strobe-light in it.
- Lars had some sort of feather thing going on.
- Nicole ended up being behind most of the pictures that were taken at the party (pictured below), but she had a newsboy cap on as well.

And of course, none of us offered explanations when wearing our hats, and the party was a great success.
