The Highest Place by Theo Playfoot

April 13th, 2009 12:00 PM / Location: 41.884968,-71.96341

INSTRUCTIONS: Go to the highest point of anything.

I went up into the clock tower of my school's main building.
Unfortunately there is no way to see out from the tower as there are no windows or slats.
I did manage to take lots of pics and got some sound bites of the clock that i may post later.
I spent a little time up there and enjoyed the ambience, of this old, beautiful place. I was also allowed to wind the clock.

Man, I love clockwork. I'd love to hear some of the audio when you get a chance.

More pics of this task would be good. Clockwork is awesome, as are high places, but the pics you have here don't really do either justice, I suspect. Share more of that ambiance...

Seconded. The pics you've got are enough to make me want to see the rest.

I will add some pics of the AWESOME attic that you walk through to get to the tower. All sorts of beautiful ambience, old beautiful antennas, electronics, and of course all those clock works. I will post some of my faves and some pics of the bell. One of the coolest parts of the experience was that i got to wind the clock. More on that later along with the sound clips.
