Document Your Power Move by Henry Gumblewit

October 4th, 2006 2:19 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Every character in the game has a Power Move: something that mere mortals cannot do but your character can, thanks to your skill, strength, cunning, or daring.

Document your character's power move.

Well. My character has the rather amazing power of spontaneous combustion. It may not be practical but it is certainly spectacular when seen done. Many a time my character has been walking down the street and he gets excited when he sees something spectacular or amazing. This excitement creates a chemical from an unkown extra chromosome that my character happened to aquire during his brief foray of entering amateur nuclear reactor building competitons. When this chromosome creates this chemical it is only the beggining. To complete the spontaneous combustion reaction my character must eat several chilis which have the ability to turn what would be a harmless chemical into a giant flaming mass. The process by which the spontaneous combustion happens is such that when my character eats his chilli this combines to the srub special chemical and the mixture is secreted through the characters skin. After this is done the character only needs to rub against something and he will collapse into a flaming pile of pain untill someone puts him out. Unfortnately for my character he is being hunted down by the state police for being a danger to the public and when they catch him they are going to place him in a large container filled with water so that if he ever was to spontaneously combust after being sneaked some chillis and getting excited the fire would instantly be put out and the public saved. Fortunately for my character he is extremely depressed about his spontaneous combustion and therefore never gets excited enough to produce the special chemical and so this miracle feat is a rare thing. Thats about all ive got to say on the issue.
