Levitating Potato / Texts
Order by: date ↓ - rating ↑Very nicely done. The out-of-place blood spray does a wonderful job of adding emotion to what could otherwise be a much more lifeless piece.
I can certify that not only are these habits good indicators, they appear to be long lived. Which leads us to one of a few conclusions. If perpetrators are impersonating Help, they are either very good or have been at it a long time. Furthermore, if they have been impersonating Help for a long time, then they are very strange indeed.
Is the card thing new since you started playing bridge?
Am I to assume that you were tasking, had chalk on hand, and didn't draw any symbols to help explain what was going on to the likes of Peter?
I'm hoping you simply neglected to photograph them...
Oops. I swear I looked at all the photos before posting :/
Anyway, a vote for fighting the war on the unexpected (and symbol chalking).
A lucky dad, and lucky kids!
It's a lovely Thanksgiving story.
Somehow talk of democratic pirates always reminds me of the problem of dividing loot.
Idling means not engaging the throttle, regardless of the state of the clutch, at least to me.
Also, Real Men can start their manual on level ground while idling, and then proceed to gain enough speed to shift gears.
Alas, it does not seem there are many SF0ers in NC, or I would definitely be up for this.
(Am I alowed to go tune the idle setting for the race? ;) )
Tuning of vehicles is clearly well within the BARTPA trajectory.
I wonder how hard it would be to tune the horns... probably not that difficult. Engine sounds would be harder.
I wonder if you could do something like the cell phone symphony...
I glued them down late Tuesday night. As of this afternoon (Friday), 22 of the 24 were still there. I haven't thought of a convenient way to observe people; it's not a high traffic area, and there's not really a good place to sit and watch.
I'm going to head out later tonight and replace those two.
Nope. It's a bit over 1/4 mile away, and there are trees and houses and such in between.
I'm actually more surprised two are missing -- they're quite thoroughly stuck. I can't think of a way to get them off that doesn't involve something like a chisel or a blowtorch. Like I said, I think it's because the epoxy hadn't had time to cure with the cold (epoxies cure much, much slower when cold).
