Note To Players by Liz

INSTRUCTIONS: Compose a statement that you feel should be shared with all SFZero players.

Your statement should be useful, enlightening, or, at the very least, novel and funny.

When I was in the sixth grade, or maybe seventh, I loved trying something new every day. I'd bring a stick of basil and hit people with it. I'd bring a cattail and have people make a wish on it. I'd say something new, something old in a new way, or nothing at all. The point is, I was trying everything I could. And then kids made fun of me, a lot, and I got pretty discouraged. As in, so discouraged I gave up. I wanted to do the same things everyone else did every day, because that was okay. No one made fun of you if you were the same as at least, say, a dozen other people. But now, I've found a way to do something new every day, with a whole lot more than a dozen people. And we all do it in a different way. And that's okay.

I just wanted to say that I appreciate having a posse of people who do what I do but at the same time don't.

I like that a lot. It reminds me of wearing sports goggles instead of glasses for years in elementary school and being called "Kareem Abdul-JaBlair" by the other kids. Not that I want to bring that back but I think it would be okay in SFZero.

Good way of thinking about it. I hope you keep playing "the game".
