Gaint Paper Airplane by Laura, Lord of Entropy
November 19th, 2007 4:26 PM
During his visit, Ben and I as well as my roommate Kat set out to make a giant paper airplane. Originally I had bought two yards of butcher paper for the task. However, Saturday night we were overcome by a compulsion to decorate my closet door with a portrait of Malek Taus, the peacock angel. So we cut a piece of it off for Kat to sketch on. But anyway, with the leftover paper we made an airplan that was as large as it could be and still fit comfortably into the back seat of my car. Because we assembled the airplane in our underpants, we took sexy underpants + plane pictures, but sadly the focus was not great on these pictures After a fine day of the aquarium and botanic gardens, we launched the airplane a few times. We had intended to go somewhere tall to do so, but we were tired.
Plane is made of paper stiffened with strips of balsawood, and some tape. And pirate stickers.

Flying

This was the best I could get of it in flight. My camera is not great, nor are my photography skills.

This is one of those tasks that I just can't believe didn't get completed before. Well done, you deserve your fleur-de-lys!

Yeah, I didn't realize it hadn't been done before. Maybe everyone figured everyone else was going to do it.
