INSTRUCTIONS: Whilst in Scotland, I couldn't help but notice that along the roadway, there were signs posted, simply saying, "Thank You". These signs were as regular as stop signs, or speed limit signs.
I asked my grandfather,"why are there Thank You signs posted?"
He replied,"Well, it's thanking us for driving safely. Also, if you can't read the sign, you're driving too fast."
He may have been telling the truth, but I preferred to interpret the sign at face value, like a bumper sticker that says, "Don't be a jerk." Just "Thank You".

Make a Thank You sign, and post it appropriately.
Thank you.

I've been a member of SF0 for a while now, but this is my first task. Due to being an architecture student, and a very big fan of procrastination, I don't have a whole lot of free time. I have been waiting for the right task to come around that is easy and quick, but still has an impact on people.

I decided that I wanted to do multiple thank you signs, and I wanted to thank people for doing everyday things. I chose things that may seem mundane, but I view them as very important for college students. Plus, things seem a little less arbitrary when you get actual credit for them, be it from a stranger or not.

Since the thank yous were simple and everyday, I chose a medium that was also simple and everyday: green sticky notes from Meijer. I posted them around my dorm thanking people for showering, flushing the toilet, doing laundry, studying, and recycling. These are the things that I think make living in the dorms bearable.

It only took me a few minutes to post my simple thank you signs, but I hope that someone appreciates them and/or gets a little laugh out of one of them. The best part of the process was posting the 'thank you for showering' signs. There was actually a guy in the shower when I posted the signs, so I did it really quickly and ran out, I really hope he doesn't think it was aimed at him!

P.S. pictures were taken with my phone, so they may be a little below par. Sorry.

I gave you 5 points because your task inspired me to complete another task after nearly a year's hiatus. :) Well done! And thank YOU for showering. ;)
