INSTRUCTIONS: Choose a CD based solely on a band name, album name, and/or cover art that appeals to you; one that you've never heard of before and know nothing about.

Review it here.

The dollar section at the Record Exchange is a familiar place. Being a fifteen year old drop out has is limits as far as income goes. I was sifting through the masses of old Barbara Streisand and Kenny Rogers records when I stumbled upon this:

With album art such as that and a name like Kitchens of Distintion I had to see whether or not a dollar was a reasonable price. Unfortunately they sound like every other overplayed eighties band. Not so distinct, eh?

Kitchens of Distinction isn't my tip top favorite of the Shoegazer phenomenon, but I do like 'em. You definitely could have done worse for $1!

I wish we had more dollar CD bins around here. You pretty much have to hit the pawn shops for that.
