Feats Of Strength by mean jeannine

July 24th, 2006 12:00 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Challenge a stranger to compete with you in a feat of strength, will, or speed. Arm wrestling, for example.

I went to a client luncheon on Friday, July 21, 2006 and they had these little Pro Wrestling Rings (see pic), so cute! There was an event as part of the luncheon where they had a competition, but I knew everyone in it. But, I grabbed one of the extra ones and asked a few people at the table next to mine... they all declined. Most everyone at my table stood up to go back to the office, and someone from the client company I hadn't met sat down. I introduced myself, he introduced himself back. I immediately asked him if he would thumb wrestle me, showing him the little thumb wrestling ring, and he agreed. Yay!

I let him know I wanted to take a few pictures first. I don't think he heard me because he immediately started to thumb wrestle and was disappointed that I wasn't trying (see pic). I put down my camera phone (thus the poor picture quality), and the match began. After our thumbs danced around each other for a bit, he dove in, pinning me down. I think my thumb needs to do some more training before I try this again. I thanked him, got a quick picture of him with the wrestling ring in front of him and I had to rush back to work.

Haven't we already established that you don't exist?

I hear mumblings now and then about how she's actually "real now." Some actual person might be embodying her character. She was apparently at a New Years Eve party I crashed but I never met her. I think I should meet Mean Jeannine. I'll ask to collaborate with her on a task soon.

Nice!

Making an imaginary person into a real person is no easy feat!

The picture is bad enough that I can't see it?

Sorry, I originally tried uploading the pictures at work, and it wasn't working... and then my boss came in with work to do. I got my internet re-hooked up today, so you can see them now!

Thanks for standing up for me Aaro! I was at the New Years Eve Party... and even shook your hand.

Being someone who everyone thinks is an imaginary person is no easy feat. ;)
