Alternative Medium Art by N Bluth

July 16th, 2006 8:24 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Create a Work Of Art using an Alternative, Infrequently Used Medium.

Its been years since I have honestly tried to express myself artistically. I mean, sure, doodles in notebooks during class but thats it. WR Crafts is going out of business here in Rockford, and everything is 80% off. I decided to buy some ink, vellum and watercolors. This picture is the third or fourth thing I have made. It is an infrequently used medium to ME because I have not done much but doodle for years.

How it was actually made: I printed out the words and the gut picture on vellum. Everything else was drawn with ink.

I really like the guts picture!
However, is this really an alternative medium? It seems like pen and ink and vellum are pretty standard artistic fare.

I also like the guts. They're very...GUTTY! :)
