Donate a Pint of Blood by N Bluth

INSTRUCTIONS: Donate a pint of whole blood. Preferably at a blood bank or the Red Cross. Extra points if you donate platelets (apheresis donation).

Today I donated blood at the Northen IL Blood Center and almost passed out. Last time I donated I was totally fine but this time I felt like I was going to puke and the room started spinning and it was very unpleasant. Also the nurse had to stick me twice because I have bum veins or something. At least I got a slushie and cookies for my trouble.

So brave:) I'm very very squemish about getting blood drawn. Shots of something going into my body--fine. But draining out my life blood---eeeeeeee!
