So today after work, I'm thinking to myself about how long it's been since I've been to the Sutro Baths. Realizing the travesty of my ways, I call up my friend Lina (Faux sabotaged my camera, so I'm needing other people to accomplish almost anything now) and we head over. Beautiful and strange, these leftover chunks of land. I wish more things were left to decay in this manner. Build out! Renovation is the devil! My ideal city has hundreds of these abandoned destroyed sites right between new growth, as important as green parks, showing the lasting wonder in what we can create. Anyhow, being that my latest bits of Urban Exploration have been a bit more of the trespassing variety, a fence stating that it is unsafe to proceed eggs me on to a rickety brick staircase. It's really nice. I'll come back here again with my film camera when it's less muddy out. Thanks for reminding me of this place, sf0!
