Finally, I'll do my own task! I've been waiting for a while to do a collaborative task that never seemed to pan out so I can finally post the stuff I've been doing! Yay.
So, I think I'll move from my favorite composer, Steve Reich, to a rapper I've been listening to recently; T.I.
What you know about that?
1. Steve Reich
2. Phillip Glass
3. Deep Listening Band
4. Richard Maxfield
5. Alvin Lucier (at this point I'm getting worried as I see no way out of the genre...I'll trek on.)
6. Joe Jones
7. Yoko Ono (Better...)
8. Frank Zappa (Better...moving into pop territory..)
9. They Might Be Giants
10. Barenaked Ladies (how will I get to rap?)
11. Eagle-Eye Cherry
12. Ben Harper (am I fucked?)
13. Lenny Kravitz (oy...)
14. D'Angelo (hope!)
15. Aaliyah (okay, closer...)
16. Missy Elliott
17. Del the Funkee Homosapien (better rap now!)
18. A Tribe Called Quest (brilliant and mayyyy get me closer..)
19. Gang Starr
20. Public Enemy (allllriiiiighhhht)
21. Ice Cube
22. Scarface (cool.)
23. Dr. Dre
24. Mack 10
25. Xzibit
26. Kurupt
27. 2Pac (I feel like I've entered a loop. I gotta get some southern rap out of this...)
28. DMX
29. Outkast (movin south!)
30. Jermaine Dupri
31. Ludacris
32. Mystikal
33. Lil Jon (it's coming, I feel it!)
34. David Banner (almost there...)
35. T.I. (BANG!!!!!!)
Took too long, and I shifted through a lot of crap to get there, but I have succeeded. So modern minimalism ain't so different from Houston hip-hop, right?

Well, I still want to do the Audio collab - so, let me know when my turn is and I'll still do my part. I can still be added to the collaboration, right?
The Collaborative Audio Task was almost down to the end of the list last I heard, and I still have my step of the way. I'm not sure when we'll have the completed work, so... hmm!
