Was my first run but I didn't expect to end it this way :) Was a little late for the start, so I was happy to see I came not as the last to the beginning.

Anyway, packed with all I could possibly need, I rushed to the checkpoint 1. Easy task but I had to learn how to read map marks the right way. Crawling thru the neighborhood, I found checkpoint 1 easily. Not many chasers around, except the one witch chainsaw, who was 5 steps ahead of me inside the safe zone :) First signature on my paper, this was easy :)

Checked the map for the second checkpoint. Rain is getting heavier, darkness entering the city... Nice, why not. Some distant screaming, lucky chasers. Changed my route slightly. Checkpoint 2 is near. See some chasers in distance, adjusting my route again. Checkpoint 2 was tricky. Followed the crowd and got there at last. Before the second signature, I has a difficult question. Name the princess in Zelda game. No idea, memory blank. Guy smiles at me and gives me second chance: "name two porn sites.". How the hell should I know, I know the movies, but not the sites :D "Okay, two Your favorite movies", the guy sees no hope in me. "Intoxicated" was my first answer, "and white angel". Was really surprised how blank my memory was after just one hour of playing. Saw a chaser on the corner, taking the second street and rushing to checkpoint 3. I'm all alone, noone around. 10 minutes noone to see. Thinking about my next moves and there are two people on the other side of the street. CHASER! And a camera man. A guy with camera sticked to his head. The chaser seems calm, I watch him carefully. The camera man turns on me and starts to run. Red ribbon? Cameramen chase too? Nobody told me, unfair! Awww.... Run run run... Too late, after few meters I'm losing my blue soul and become the chaser. Camera man goes easy on me "won't worry chasing is fun too".

Ashamed, I tie the red ribbon to my hand and look for my prey. First were some guy who stepped out of the tram. Some people noticed me and stayed on the tram, some got out and noticed me only after the door has been shut. Easy :) I got his blue soul and walked away. Two minutes later a chaser jumps on me, a guy with a hat. We chat for a while, he gives me some tips and info. Ten minutes later I found two blue souls. Chase on! :) The girl went left, I followed the guy. Was not that fast, but I got tired and let him go. I don't have to get everyone. Getting a bit wet. My neoprene-like hoodie is not that waterproof as I thought. It's okay so far... I keep running to keep me warm.

As a chaser I look into the map to find a good position to get my prey. I walk down the streets and I saw two blue souls behind me. They have noticed me, but didn't knew if I'm a chaser. Went around the corner and crouched behind a car there. They couldn't see me, so they stayed on a corner and took out the map. I'm closing in... Slowly, quietly, hiding behind parked cars. Observing the traffic. Now is a good time! Running towards them. The guy saw me first. All he did was running away and screaming something like "run jeannie, run!". She did not noticed me until I was like 5 steps in front of her. Screaming, she ran away too but I was faster. Collected my second blue soul and walked away :) Feels good to be chaser :D

Rain is getting on my skin, and I'm not alone. Some other chasers I met (hey, where are the blue guys? Haven't seen any for at least 30 minutes) said it's too wet for them too. I stayed around some bus stations, but had no luck. There were too many chasers fishing for people coming out of the busses. Met a guy who said got 5 blue ribbons in 6 minutes (or vice versa?). Noticed that my hoodie is definitely not waterproof (but a female chaser said it is "geil" :)))) ).

Met group of people around some blue soul girl on the ground, apparently they ran into each other. The girl had blood under her nose, but was not looking that bad.

A bus came and bunch of blue souls ran towards it. I joined them :) The last blue soul checked his back and saw me... Started to scream and doubled his speed. I did the same. On the corner, there was someone with blue ribbon standing, I grabbed him. Next to him was a chaser and they all looked at me like: "hey, he's mine". Cursing, I ran away towards the bus. Bus door slammed, some girl stayed behind, I took her. Bus opened the door and we all got in. I collected my third (and final) blue soul and stepped out at the next stop. A young guy stepped out too and asked me what is that all about. I tried to explain him all I could :)

Was looking for some more action, but there was also that growing feeling that I should go home now, or it could be too late for me... I was completely wet, my underwear was soaked with water, my shoes were flooded with water (waterproof shoes: water comes in and stays inside...)... Enough for me to accept the inevitable. Met that guy with a hat again and followed him and few others into a bar. Since my car stayed in the Polz...something park, I tried to figure a way back. GPS told me it's about 5 kilometers, but guys in the bar explained me how to get there by public transport (thanx alot!).

In the public transport, all the people were looking at me as someone really really odd :) They even changed seat as I stepped in. To hell with them, I was so cold, that I had problems to put a coin into the ticket machine.

Around midnight, I finally was in my car. Took off my hoodie, shirt, shoes, socks... I was thinking about the jeans too. Turned the heating full on and was slowly driving thru the city back home. Noticed all the streets I saw as a chaser, it was strange. It felt odd to drive thru them and not walk... Some guys in next lane stopped next to me at traffic light and asked me where are my clothes. Explained (and showed) them that I have everything wet. They turned the car around at the next intersection. I guess my german is not that good as it used to be....

PS: You won't get my blue soul that easily next time :)
