Object Annotation by Ivy

January 25th, 2008 8:33 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Pick a local public object that you enjoy and leave a note on it describing your feelings in great detail.

The problem with loving SLR Cameras means that you spend all your money on one, and therefore don't have a digit one (yet anyways) so your going to have to take this one on faith (or a truthful promise) because what I did, was freakin' awsome.

So, I go to a boarding school in PA, and right now it is really REALLY cold outside, so when choosing my object I picked something that is close (but still public-don't fret) and wrote a poem for someone (FYI- I pretty much hate all poems and only write them to mock people that are serious).
It goes;

"I am not sure why you are outside,
but because you are- I must confide
This bench you see, well it's my favorite,
the cool black metal makes me not-hate-it.
I would sit here both day and night,
but the darkness outside gives me a fright.
Being here makes me feel so homey,
the wind through me hair makes me feel less dromey
(I don't know if thats a word.. but it rymes)
I hope you enjoy this bench as much as I,
because if you don't I think I'al cry"

So, because its windy I tape this note to the bench, and after a few days I walk by it agian and it looks pretty much the same except basic wear-and-tear. So I get disgruntled and go to take it off, but when I open it up, someone had written over my poem and fixed the grammical errors (I am horrid at grammer).

Pretty Cool I know (hey- at least I know someone read it)

Pretty cool indeed! :)
Benches are great always, even when butt-freezing.
Dromey could be a new word, you know? It sounds about right, makes me think of tired dromedaries in the shade.
Welcome to the game.
