INSTRUCTIONS: Correct the grammar and/or spelling of a public message (this could mean anything from graffiti to billboards).

Tonight, I was in a college dorm for the first time for some time. I had the occasion to visit the bathroom, and discover a public health poster exhorting the reader to perform such actions as washing their hands after sneezing into them, and, relevantly, to "cover you cough".

This is unacceptable.

Even drunk, as I was and still am, I am a grammar nazi, and this is a vicious sin against the Queen's English. I don't seem to have a standard black ballpoint pen on my person at the moment, tragically, so I was required to borrow an orange whiteboard marker from the whiteboard on the door of the room of the resident advisor to fix the problem. (I should point out how much I enjoy the cascade of prepositional phrases in the preceding sentence.)

Thankfully, the institution to which this bathroom belongs is highly predisposed to graffiti, conversations on the walls in bathrooms (frequently known as "groutfitti" due to their positioning), and other user-defined post-installation content. I should really stop back in a few days to check on the status of my correction, as I expect it will be embellished or commented on.

I believe the correct spelling would be "you's". or is it yous?

I think it would be "youse". As in "youse guyse is ups to no good."
