i had a dream last night about a whole bunch of players. i wish i remembered more of it. especially the first part which was very long, intricate and epic. i had gone into the city with i think it was Rubin (who i didn't know before sf0) presumably to complete some task, and there was a "crazy suit lady", who was willing to loan me her black velvet jumpsuit suit but i had to take all the stuff out of it first. and there was an awful lot of crap in it. it had like closed feet where all the stuff was gathered. there was some task i was trying to do with who ever i was with (it was either vladypus or rubin) which involved putting the suit over a parking meter, i don't remember why. never quite got there. then there was something about a beach that i don't recall. but somewhere at the beach we ran into sam, ian, and sean and decided to all go to dinner at this diner. oliver and some of his company were there, and we joined them all squishing into one booth. i asked him if he had died his hair red, and told him how confused in had made me on all the Wrong Holiday pics. Incidentally, in the dream, he had shaved off all of his hair. we all started talking about the Wrong Holiday, and of course, this led into talking about the Kiss and Make it Real task. Oliver said "oh, by the way, i broke your kissing score, but i wish it had been more Real" (i actually had to log on to sf0 just now to check and make sure this wansn't some real comment i read while i was sleepy. turns out it was similar to a comment he made; at some point very early in the morning i must have woken up, checked sf0, and gone back to sleep, apparently inspiring this dream.) anyway, i immediately counted the players at the table and found i had exactly as many as i needed to double my score. Celina was quite enthusiastic and cooperative but no one was fast enough to take a picture. so we had to kiss again. shucks. Oliver was sitting next to me and i grabbed him and kissed him on the cheek and he said something snarky, like "we can do better than that.." at that moment the older gentleman behind us in the next booth asked what we were doing and i turned around immediately started telling him all about the game and how to get started. see? even in my dreams i preach the gloriousness that is sf0 to anyone who will listen. when he was having trouble getting the website "Ess Eff oh? Zero or 0?" "dot what?" i took off my sf0 button i was conveniently wearing to show it to him. but it said sfzero. which is not helpful, so i turned it over and the other side (yes, other side of the BUTTON, hey, its a dream!) it had sf0.org. and he finally understood. i think this is the first time i have ever been able to actally specifically read text in a dream.. i thought i remembered reading that that was not actually possible. heh. i guess for sf0, anything is possible.

UPDATE!

so i've been having LOTS of sf0 dreams, since this first one...

in fact, sf0 has invaded my dreams to the point where, i will be having a completely unrelated dream, and take a moment in my dream to check sf0 (as i do so often in Real Life). last night i had such a dream.. and i was off and about doing something entirely unrealated to sf0, but i happened by a computer and i checked my Score. and saw that Cameron had ousted me from First by 20 points or so. Here is the really embarrassing part. This startled me so much, that it actually woke me up. It woke me up and then i couldn't get back to sleep. i couldn't get back to sleep because i was arguing with myself about the fact that i *really* wanted to check my score and see if Cam was in fact ahead, and the rational part of my brain (very very small at 4am.. ok.. who am i kidding.. very very small all the time.) saying "its 4am. go back to sleep you nutball." eventually i did check.. around 5:30 in the morning. and was left worrying about why it matters so much to me...why its waking me up in the middle of night...i'm sick of "playing for points." so i've decided to let it go.. and only the two people who read this will know why.
