Material Response To Derrida-Stumping Question by mock piratey turtle

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a bust of the philosopher you would most like to be your mother.

So at first i thought Nietzsche! But then i thought, if Nietzsche was my mother, he would have locked me in my room for my entire life, just because i was female... So then, I figured, ok, Aristotle then. But as much i love togas on occasion.. i wouldn't want to wear one every day. So Descartes it is. Already got that mamaish first name, and that long luxurious brown hair.. he kinda looks like my mom. But mostly because i like the idea of, when we would have a fight, i could run from the room in tears screaming "I wish you had never thought!!" in my adolescent angst, fervently hoping, just like in that old joke.. mama Descartes would just..disapear.

I love all the expression your mama has in his eyes. He's quirky, humorous, and altogether wonderful! Also, you can tell he ponders a lot.
