The Wonder Years by mock piratey turtle, Spidere

INSTRUCTIONS: Relive a part of your own past.

Because this was part of the larger scheme of piratey's re-introduction to the game, we decided to revisit a piece of her SF0 history. The classic story which we selected was OliverX and star5's completion of RaoK/SaoB, the beginning of the pirateymonkey/OliverX war.

But, because we wanted to make sure that this was not simply a replay of history, we decided to change the perspective as well. And so, instead of being the target of RaoK/SaoB, piratey was one of the actors making it happen. And instead of the target being someone to be defeated, we chose to target ink tea as the subject of our affection. All the total strangers wish you well and so do we! Love at you!

Spidere: This is a great task. i felt wonderful walking around doing this. It just made everyone so happy to get a flower! I really like making people happy. Everyone should do this task. Everyone. I'm going to have to do it again.

Piratey: This task (RaoK/Sao) holds a special place in my heart, not only because i created it way back when, but the particular completion of it by Oliver and Star5 marked the beginning of a long and glorious battle. However, since i had no desire to fight (just now) and every desire to cheer up my dear friend inky, and what is better than the goodwill and surprised cheer of total strangers? I do hope it brings her some measure of joy.
I too greatly enjoyed doing this task (again). It brought back many good memories and continues to be one of my very favorite tasks. i had forgotten how simply good it feels to give people flowers! we had much better luck than other times I have done this task, only one person refused us. people were predictably confused a bit by the notes but empathetically supported it once explained (if they asked). It was particularly fun doing this dressed as a pirate, attached to a man in an official looking suit. fun!

I'm voting because the effort is lovely, and the dedication absolutely cheered a lot of people up (which I am in favor of wholeheartedly), but to me this was more like completing a retired task than obviously reliving the aspect of that previous task which had an impact on your life. The similarly printed tags gets you closer to realizing the recreation of that part of your life, but I just don't see the reliving.
