I bought the CD "Van Halen" by Nerf Herder, because, well, it was by a group called Nerf Herder ! I had never heard of them, but i dug the group name and the funky plaid pants they were all wearing on the cover. It was 2$. Upon closer inspection, after purchase, the inside says "Promo Only. Not for Sale!" huh.

Review: It really is just the one song, about Van Halen and the 80's. When i first listened to it, i kinda hated it. but on a second listen i kinda loved it. sort of They Might Be Giants meets Death Cab for Cutie-esque.

and it includes the lines:
Is this what you wanted, Sammy Hagar?
Sammy Hagar, is this what you wanted, man?

Huh. upon further investigation, they apear to be an actual band, that i just somehow managed to never hear of. maybe i'll pick up an real cd...

You've never heard of Nerf Herder?

Aside from being a Star Wars Reference, they also play the main theme song to Buffy.

As for point loss,
Once you've posted a task, obviously you can add a collaborator after the fact
If you add a collab after having received votes, thats where it can mess up.
If you got a vote AFTER adding someone, it resets your vote score and you only get points for the votes made after the addition of a collab
Last night you got a vote for 1000 small things so you lost points for the previous 6 votes ( 21 • 6 =126 points lossed plus 15 for this task
i noticed your collaborator has a different posting date than you for that task, so im guessing thats what happened since your 2nd to last vote for the task was made about a week before adding the collab

yeah you would walk on down to the health food store/
and buy hummus and tabouli and babaganouj/
and RICE CAKES RICE CAKES RICES CAKES RICE CAKES!

It's got a killer punchline- I remembered being sucked into Nerf Herder in the mid to late 90s by it.
