The small scar on my upper lip is quite old, which is why it has become very light. About 10 years ago, I was riding my bike around a friend's neighborhood, going to another friend's house that lived a few streets down. I was picking up speed, driving faster with every minute and loving the wind in my hair. I did not know where our destination was exactly, and was following a few feet behind my friend. She quickly cut into my way as she was making a right turn, though she was riding slightly to the left of me. I proceeded to hit her back tire and flip over my handle bars into the paved road. My knees and elbows were cut severely, though my face took the worst of it. I have a very deep cut that caused the scar, along with road rash on my chin, cheek and forehead.
