Weird and a bit shocking. I teach in an adult´s school... and a female student, 45 years old, keeps calling me "sir"... and i´m only 23! No matter all the times i kept telling her to call me by my name... she still call me "sir", apparently just for the sake of tradition... the situation talks a lot about the authoritarian education that exists here in my country.
