INSTRUCTIONS: Write a very short piece of fiction. It should be less than 200 words. Post the piece as your proof, and send it to one other player.

College has been too slow...will sit in the sun and write.

"She had only been standing there for, what, a few seconds, six, seven, ten at the utmost. She walked up, placed both hands quietly on the bar, spoke once, turned her head sightly, smiled, and turned to leave. "I think I stay up late and watch old movies about you." Did I yell? I think I yelled, it was loud and I yelled. She turned uneasely, treating my mouth like a gun that had just fired a warning shout. Shit. "Aren't you Grace Kelly? Don't you breakfast at Tiffany's? You know where the real Maltese Falcon is, don't you?" She smiles, body relaxes. "I'm not sure, but I think every film I've ever seen, every novel I've ever read, was about you. Except maybe Star Wars." I add earnestly. With infinite charity she treats this as a joke and offers her hand. "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

Why don't they make old movies anymore?
