From what I understand of Kilts, this is actually a picture of... No Pants!
I take pants to mean - something that is designed to cover the lower portion of the body. Technically, pants to an English person means underwear so, I think it's all debatable!
is exactly what r0ck c4ndy is talking about, I believe. The traditional way to wear kilts is sans pants...
Assuming that r0ck c4ndy is British. I am not sure if people seem to be objecting to this entry or not. I assumed that kilts would be fine, since there were no "Take a picture of a stranger's kilt" task, and kilts are a completely justifiable alternative to pants.
Until your latest comment. The fact is that this particular task is not, in fact, a kilt observation excercise. Dresses are a viable alternative to pants, but this is not a dress observation excercise. Saris, robes, ninja outfits, burqas, all viable alternatives to pants. Perhaps you might want to create a task that explores any number of these alternatives.
But now that I look at the picture again, I see three other people in the shot who definitely are wearing pants...so that works.
some would even say that gum is a viable alternative
I was actually not objecting to the completion of the task at all, I was in fact making the joke Cyber Kitty thought I was.
Although I am not British, I did travel with some Brit's for quite a while and picked up some vernacular.
Also, there is a team MPLS joke about going no-pants.
So I thought I was being doubly funny, when in fact I was just confusing the hell out of everyone.
Not the first time!
INSTRUCTIONS: Take a photo of a stranger's pants.
NOT THE INSTRUCTIONS: Steal Leuitenant Lottie's film of a stranger's kilt.
The only thing you succeeded in here is not knowing the man. And do you even intend to prove that?!
I love that little shrug of the shoulders. "What, you've never seen a man dance before?"
