ahh but it is used by everyone in my office who answers the phone at all...so it is as public as, say, an office printer?

I'm voting because you convinced me that the headset is a public object. Also, props to sticking up for yourself. SF0 players new and old seem to be in need of this skill as of late. Welcome to the game.

Didn't know it was a public office headset - consider changing the proof to prevent this kind of misinterpretation?
I would argue with your definition of your headset as a public object.
