Document Player Killing Areas by r0ck c4ndy

June 28th, 2006 4:32 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Document designated player killing areas. Post signs identifying these areas and times when these are valid areas for player killing.

Oh my goodness, I have just been so stressed out!
Work is hard (as work can be), I have anxiety dreams, all these plans to get through, sewing to be done, cleaning, I just need to KILL SOMEONE!!!
But I couldn't because there were no documented player killing areas...
My plan was to post all signs and wait to see the ensuing mayhem. Because I have a relatively low score and don't have a reputation for mischief I thought I could escape detection and blame would be placed elsewhere.
Now Oliver has the biggest name, so I think everyone can agree that he needed the biggest killing. And therefore the biggest sign. I think there may be a bloodbath on friday...

After, placing this sign, I went to meet him at the coffee shop, making me think I was so clever and would be low on the suspect list. However, due to SuperFun plans Oliver happened to have a chance to look in my trunk the next day, to where a hammer totally busted me out. GAH! And all because after ripping the sign from his lawn he tried to place it in another's lawn, only to not have a hammer. Oh, for want of a hammer.
In the same time frame I also designated Miss. Star5's place a killing zone.

I hit both front and back of her builidng with small signs, hoping the building wouldn't get them down too quickly. Because it has been determined (not by me) that some people are TOTALLY OBSESSED with sf0 I decided only discussion of sf0 would trigger the zone. Everyone could be totally safe if they just found a new subject on which to speak!

I also hit Danger D.'s house, where by the way, I used to live!

Wanting to make myself as safe as possible I made it a killing zone for only those with more than 500 points. HAH! That's most of the MPLS crew except me!

I stopped by Celina Copperplates house, a location I only just discovered.

She's been having some anxiety lately so to reassure her that I got's her back, I made her house a player safe zone. Everyone should have some places they feel safe!

Early the next morning, while I knew the other players slumbered, I headed to our favorite local haunt

Note the full-on surveillance van out front. The name is not a joke folks. If you want to locate MPLS sf0'ers, this is a good place to start looking.

I designated the zone for business hours only, 830-430, because we still need a good, safe, gathering place. But those players with no jobs and lots of extra time to 'hang' are vulnerable. I recieved word from an informant that at last check the zone was still in effect.

I also hit a previously unknown enemy: Aaro Landr.

Ahhh silly Aaro put his actual contact info on an sf0 business card that made it all the way across the city to my grasping little fingers. At least I hope it's Aaro's real contact info. Otherwise some poor sod is going to be very confused when they get home tonight!

I also, while I was still trying to stay under cover, hit my own house.

I made the gigantic nature preserve of my backyard a killing zone. But not the house. I want people to come over and play games after all!

Don't think that just because I haven't hit you, that you are living in a safe zone. There are signs in existance. I travel by mysterious routes. You never know when you'll find your refuge zoned according to my diabolic plans!!

If your house wasn't so doggone mysteriously placed in a triangle of confusion you'd be in the hit zone too sweet cheeks!

Hmm. I don't *think* you know where our new house is. Yet.

Funny, because I had to secure an address for some other sf0 mischeif just today! (not any other player's, though.)

I believe Bill and Ted said it best "Excellent!"
Got the right house and still freaked a non-player. I feel so proud.

Nicely done. Hmm... that killing area is so far away. Folks from these parts (SF) will need to be creative in our attacks.

I'm at the Varsity Theater and get an IM from my roommate on the terms of "wtf is this on the door?" I said "wtf?" and then told him to immediately call me. He explained what was on my door and it honestly took me a few seconds to realize this had to do with SFZero. I wish he would have just said that it had "SF0.org" written on it straight away.

Now, I'm scared to go home. I then email or IM some other SFZero players and get a number of responses telling me that I'm "pwnt." At this point, I don't know what's a safe zone or not - or if I'm being specifically targeted or if this is a widespread sweeping. After some twitching around I finally end up checking sf0.org and skim through this briefly and see that there's now a lot of kill zones and Celina's place is a safe zone. I wonder... "wtf?" and then soon after my battery dies and I'm now without internet access and my phone the rest of the night. Another SFZero friend shows up at the theater and I explain. After some conversation and some rethinking I realize it's probably safe to go home.

I've removed the sign and put it in my bedroom.

Nicely done. I was nice and paranoid there for awhile.

P.S. Did you like my furniture arrangement? There was a good reason for that - only for today.

No way! My friends and I love Sf0 and we go to the Spy House all the time. Had no idea that was an Sf0 hot spot. We'll have to keep our eyes peeled next time.
