I made 4 rules for myself for doing this task
1. I had to make the postcards
2. They had to contain some clue to my identity
3. They had to be going to someone out of state.
4. They had to be made from words or pictures I already had in folders around the house. (I am a compulsive clipper!)

I made them last night while watching The Breakfast Club, and after a totally crap day at work I thought going out and talking to strangers about a something fun would be great. But instead, people were mean to me!
The first guy was quite nice but the totally cute, interesting style, smiled back at me, girl that I talked to was ultra weird, made me feel really uncomfortable and told me that I was being wierd. Since I already have the rule of not telling people about sf0 while performing a task, I told her that I had made the postcards, they were for my friends, and I was just doing something fun. All true of course! But she was so mean about the whole thing I decided to go to one of my favorite artsy coffee shops and sticky the other 2 to the table for people to find and be inspired to mail!

EDIT: Today 6/25/06 I heard from one of the people I addressed a postcard to. I think it's too soon to have gotten it, and she didn't say anything so I don't know. But it's funny she called right after I sent it.
