Take Some Notes by r0ck c4ndy
April 12th, 2007 1:56 PMBut that is totally lame.
And Burn Unit already cleverly took some notes from others.
But, I am sort of clumsy. Not like I hurt myself a lot, but I frequently do things and think: Huh. I probably shouldn't have don't that!
So, I decided to take notes for 24 hours on the things that I really really need to keep in mind:
- Note to Self: You are not actually connected to your computer. Take out your headphones before walking away or tragedy will strike.
- Note to Self: It is fine to choose the stall with the toilet seat still up, based on the notion that it is probably the most recently cleaned. However, if you are sleepy, you may forget to put the toilet seat down, and tragedy will strike.
- Note to Self: If you are carrying a water bottle, a plate, a napkin, and your wallet it is possible that you will throw it all away together, and it will be a tragedy.
- Note to Self: It is very funny that your friends say "fuck you" in a pleasant tone whenever you sneeze. However, if you look up and say that to people in law school when they sneeze, it's possible that tragedy will strike!
- Note to Self: When you gain weight your ass gets bigger. That means the skirt that was just fine last fall, may be far too short now, and if you bend over to plug in your computer, tragedy may strike.

Great notes...you could do this for a month and have an entire book of self-to-self tips.
dude, if you did a year, I would totally buy that book. especially if a year's worth of tips were all described as varying degrees of "tragedies"
I give myselfs notes all the time too. But none as great as these.
I'm glad you liked the"tragedies!" Moby said try to write things in an interesting way, and via Star5, I thought that was good advice. So I made my notes more fun!
Maybe I will try to take more notes...
I like to think eventually I will stop doing these things, but it's probably too much to hope for!
great notes!
i do love the tragedy may strike part.
and agree that you should keep writing it and make a book!
who doesn't want to know how to avoid tragedy?
we could take photos or something and print it online like i did the sf0 book.
the greatest gift to someone on the phone constantly, wireless headset. I can't even begin to count the number of tragedies when getting up from my desk before I got one.
