Lucid Dreaming by Rabbit
April 19th, 2007 12:16 PMI was with mooflyfoof and she had a dog, a lab or golden retriever sized one. She's a cat person, so I'm not sure why she had a dog. However this dog was gnawing on his arm incessantly, supposedly after a flea or something. Mooflyfoof and I continued chatting, and then looked over to find that the dog had gnawed clear through his leg, and his paw and part of his shin where laying on the floor next to him. Suprisingly the dog was calm, not suprisingly me and mooflyfoof were not. She started freaking out and I ran and was suddenly in a grocery store or pet store, looking for something to fix the situation. It suddenly occurred to me that a) this was a strange occurrence and b) mooflyfoof doesn't have a dog. *cue lightbulb* I must be dreaming! A quick substance check, no recollection of any mind-altering prescribed medications and I concluded that yes, I was in fact dreaming. This meant I was in control of everything. This meant I could fix the dog's leg like nothing ever happened. I closed my eyes, did a little head-nod Barbara Eden style, and then leisurely walked back to the room that mooflyfoof was in with the dog. It was like nothing had ever happened and the world was right. But that damn dog was chewing on his leg again.

fwiw, this lucid dream was actually earlier this week, so I don't really consider this retroactive. Maybe a clarification on "experienced lucid dreamer" is necessary for this or a lowering of points.
dictionary.com defines experienced as:
1. wise or skillful in a particular field through experience: an experienced teacher.
2. having learned through experience; taught by experience: experienced through adversity.
3. endured; undergone; suffered through: experienced misfortunes.
I felt like I met the criteria:
1. Have a lucid dream. - check
2. I do not consider myself an experienced lucid dreamer. To me, experienced indicates one who has enough knowledge and experience to convery to another person through teaching.
3. Describe the experience - check
4. What method? - illogical circumstances + no recollection of altering substances
If people think this is sufficient proof, let me know. If people think this isn't sufficient, flag me. :)
Btw, I'm reminded of the task Dream About Another Player.
For so this many points, I'd encourage you not do a retroactive completion. I know you may not consider yourself "an experienced lucid dreamer" (I don't consider myself one, either), but you should challenge yourself.
Interesting dream, though.
