Remove A Task: The Task by Rabbit
July 17th, 2006 10:47 AM
I hereby nominate "Anti-Consumer" for removal.
Here are my arguments:
1. It is unfair to groups such as BARTpa due to the fact that many of the tasks require paying for public transportation on a regular basis.
2. It is unclear whether it encourages or discourages spending. A person that spends money may receive votes, turning a negative task into a positive one, encouraging people to spend more money (although creatively).
3. Individual tasks wishing to stress anti-consumer ideals should explicitly state "spend no money" or declare a limit on how much should be spent.
4. Many tasks explicitly require the purchase of items, by attempting to avoid the penalty of this task, you are limiting yourself to the number of tasks you can perform.
5. I'm boycotting it. :)
